Backgrounds
Considering that sometimes, you may change your WIFI hotspot, or change your router, and you want to reconfigure your 2A's WIFI, here's an explanation of a way you can use a PC to reset your WI-FI.
Note that this is not the only method, in fact, if the old SSID fails to connect for more than, say, five minutes, the 2A will go into hotspot rewiring, and you'll be able to just reconnect the 2A's hotspot to the network.
But if these methods don't work, using a PC with a USB will be good.
Operation Demonstration
You'll need these tools for the following procedure:
- A PC, Linux, or Mac with a new version of Chrome or Edge.
- 2A Recovery Tools website: https://tool.screek.io/factory_tool/2a/
Please note that some TYPE-C cables only have a power supply function and cannot be connected, such as our 5m extension power cable. But our included 1m cable with data transfer function can be used for this.
The demo in the video uses a Mac computer, if yours is a PC, please note that your serial ports will show up as COM1, COM2, etc. serial numbers.
Considering the convenience of the video medium, below is a video demonstrating the entire working process:
