We have found in recent firmware that Near-IR can stay at a fairly low value (usually a little over 18lx) even in night time lighting, and after some initial investigation we believe this is caused by the light causing the LS2 to go into fast mode when the integration time is automatically calculated. This 17lx occurs at around 100ms of calculation time, like a minimum value. This can be reduced if the calculation time is locked at 800ms, but it will affect the high brightness performance during the day.
We will continue to investigate this situation, and for the time being values below 19 for near-ir can be considered non-daylight. In daylight performance it is usually above this value.
