We built a prototype of LS2, using libraries from latonita (https://github.com/latonita/esphome-veml7700), and here are the results of our initial comparison tests.
From the overall test, there is not much noticeable difference under normal dark light.
In the case of recognizing light there is more near-infrared recognition, and if you point an infrared remote control at it you will see an increase in the full-spectrum value, while ambient light is unaffected.
In contrast, in the case of the BH1750, infrared light is not recognized.
I think I'll be able to share this sex sensor LS2 with you soon. We expect it to cost slightly more than the LS1 by a few dollars.
