As we had a sunny day today (the overcast lasted far too long), we could observe LS1, LS2 in some of their performances:
- Where the windows have direct access to the sunlight, the light can be as high as 5000lx, even without direct sunlight.
- When the glass is closed, it attenuates roughly 1000lx.
- To the extent of visible light, the LS2 and LS1 are close in performance.
- For the Near-IR and full spectrum, the Free LS2 is able to show, from which the Near-IR is very strong when daylight is visible. As we have found before, Near-IR can be very useful to help with the difference between daylight and artificial light. In normal artificial light, Near-IR is always 0 (IR remote control, IR camera can stimulate the display of this value).
Light is the incredible energy that ignites everything, and it's great to be able to make these little light sensors for a richer display.
