We were testing the LS2 working in the highest resolution mode (dark light environment) and made an unexpected discovery that the NIR light is almost 0 in the night light. and to test this, using an IR remote control it was possible to notice that the intense IR light was increasing without affecting the normal light. For the LS1 (BH1750) it just doesn't react, it only detects visible light.
Interesting, why is it that during the day sometimes the NIR light is strong and sometimes not? And this might be helpful for distinguishing sunlight?
