Created time

We got LD6001 today, HLK's 60G radar (with fascinating parameters, up to 8 people at the same time, 8 meters max range). It's relatively large compared to the LD2450!
We were only able to test it near a desktop computer as it required a PC upscaler. From the initial situation
- Stability is good, it tracks the target consistently and it's not easy to get the target to disappear.
- There are two sensitivity settings, normal and high.
- Occasionally sometimes ghosting occurs, but the ghosting disappears after some time.
- The controller and documented tools say Smart AC Radar, which looks like it was designed to be used for air conditioning. Perhaps it is used to determine where the number of people are located?
- Cats sometimes come into view.
Also, we have found that the recent LD2450 firmware greatly improves the static capability, even if we want to make ourselves disappear from the radar view, which is not easy to do. We try very hard to hold our breath, but it's still there.
If you don't consider the price, the radar is initially quite interesting:
- Has a twofold sensitivity adjustment, which corresponds to two stops.
- The response of the radar is quite fast.
- If it can support multiplayer scenarios and really track 8 people, it looks pretty good.
However, it must be noted that the unit cost of the radar module alone is $28.
