A friend from Singapore ordered 10 THS1(https://screek.io/ths1) and we made them in one morning, can't say how enjoyable it was, the THS1 is a bit complicated to work with and the thin wires don't solder well. Also the way we used reinforcement on the shells was a bit unusual, requiring the use of damping to hold them in place. After sending them out we are down to two test kits. Our supplier won't be back to work until about February 20, so we'll be stopping the THS1 supply until then. It's still interesting to see how they can sense the temperature and humidity of their environment when they're connected and the firmware is written, and how these very simple things combine to become something that can be used for extended purposes. It's like a tentacle crawling out of the HA mainframe that can capture the temperature and humidity of a specific place. For the next step, we will consider this user suggestion for future THS2, and we will consider adding a light sensor on top of the control box.
I think that could be fun.
