- Accessing the device's web address from the HA's properties page
2.At the bottom of the device's web page, find OTA Update, select the downloaded bin file (make sure it starts with ota) and click update
Sometimes you may get a 404 error after clicking update, you can try a few more times, this is because ESPHome is processing other sensor tasks while updating and the update takes too long. If possible, trying to get closer to the router will help some. But a little farther away, a few more tries will be fine.
- When everything is working well, you will see the text of the update success.
