Background
A user has proposed an idea regarding the upper limit of a sensor's nominal temperature, which is as high as 100 degrees. So, what happens when it is placed in boiling water?
Testing
We placed the sensor probe in a kettle and boiled it to observe the outcome. The result was that the internal sensor remained undamaged, but the outer layer of the probe's fixed material underwent shrinkage and deformation. Additionally, it took a long time for the humidity to return to normal levels.
Based on this situation, we believe that this sensor is not suitable for working in extremely high-temperature boiling conditions. Its manufacturing process is better suited for working in environments such as air.。
